Recently while doing some projects for my Survey of Exceptionalities Course, I was in search of an efficient piece of software which could be flexible enough to produce professional brochures,flyers and bookmarks. In this search I happened to stumble upon Microsoft Publisher 2007, having produced some amazing pieces of work using other applications from the Microsoft Office Range I decided to use this software at once. The results were amazing! From the first click the software provides an exceptional array of possibilities with over twenty categories to choose from, for example, calenders, flyers, brochures, greeting cards, newsletters and postcards. (Refer to Picture - Left) This user friendly educational s0ftware makes publication so simple by providing numerous templates for each category to suit your every need. You can also personalise of make your own template if you are the creative type, or just choose one from the list when you're in a rush. (Refer to the Picture on the Right). Also if you haven't found something that suits your taste just type your choice and preference in the web search bar and limitless possibilities await you via the Microsoft's Publisher Online Resource. The pages are also equipped with numerous tabs to guide you along the way; whether you want to change the colors, text font or size, the alignment or add pictures, clip arts, links or other gadgets to make your presentation outstanding and professional. I believe that this software is beyond educational as it not only provides an academic learning opportunity but opens the gateways of our creative thinking venues and allows us to make publications we thought we never could create. Today we live in the intreguing world of technology and every second new inventions are being made and we can also find a vast amount of information on exclusively anything on the internet. Which is the source of most of our research now - a -days. However, those of us without the access of internet and even us who have a ready and reliable access will be forever grateful to Microsoft Encarta.

Microsoft Encarta is an educational software programme which is an entire encyclopedia and archival collection. The Microsoft Encarta Premium DVD 2006 takes educational software to the next level. It provides vast amounts of data on almost anything and it is categorized into sections for quick and easy browzing. The categories include: History, Geography, People and Society, Science and Nature, Arts and Literature and Sports and Recreation.

An exclusive feature of Microsoft Encarta is Microsoft Encarta Kids, which is very user friendly and loved by all. Microsoft Encarta creates a whole new dimension in the teaching and learning process for teachers and students alike!
